The brand that became Olababs Musical Production today started in mid 90’s when a group of friends namely Babatunde Olaniyan (Babs), Femi Adedoyin (Parrot), Sanjo Falemi (S.F), Sunday Akinware (ASMA), Akin Oyeyemi (So-Se-Lah) and Abayomi Ogundele (Mio riran) organized a small musical group being members of the same choir named Victorious Voices of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke – Isegun, Aguda – Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.
Babs and his friends go about around Aguda Ogba, Oke-Ira, Ifako Agege axis then, singing, playing musical instruments and doing MC to entertain guests during their celebrations like naming ceremonies, weddings, housewarming, birthdays, burials, church concerts etc. At that time there was no formal name ascribed to the group because we were just having our fun rendering those services to our friends and family.

As we grow older, we begin to break apart due to education, relocation and forging ahead in life in order to pursue our dreams. Babs continued with the band as the Lead Vocalist and engaged services of new instrumentalists and singers and the band continue to grow.
Babs rebranded the band as Olababs Music Production and obtained certificate of registration of business name from the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission on 5th of April, 2016.

Today, Olababs Music Production ventures into Life Band Performances, Supply and Rentals of Musical Instruments, Sound Studio for Album/Jingle Productions, Artiste Management and so on.
